I have a DNN 1.5 site, trying to add a Feedback module to a page. I have Feedback module 5.0.2

I am able to add the module, but it doesn't work. I get a javascript error: "val is null" on submission. Seems to be related to validation. Module is as is, I am not customizing any settings.

I have tried to add the module to different pages, same result.

Please confirm which version of the DotNetNuke framework you have installed. In your post you wrote DotNetNuke 1.5. I assume that you meant to write 5.1.

Note that Feedback 5.0.2 requires a minimum DotNetNuke version of 5.02.03 as well as ASP.Net 3.5 SP 1 and MS SQL Server 2005 or 2008.

Site vesion was a typo. The DNN site I have installed is version 5.6.2, running on Windows 2008, with ASP.Net 4 and SQL Server 2008.
Feedback module version is 5.0.2

Feedback 5.0.2 has been tested successfully in this same configuration including ASP.Net 4.0 so I'm at a loss to even begin to suggest what the problem (apparently client-side) may be.

Although you mentioned that you have Feedback configured with its default settings, am I correct that the Captcha validation code is not enabled?

What browser are you using?

I think I figured out the problem. Or at least it is working. I had commented out one of the required field validations, I think that was the issue. Once I un-commented it out, it worked. Sorry for the trouble, I had forgotten that I did that.
