There are two options.

Use <iconFile>filename</iconFile>  if the basepath is defined in a file component

Use <iconFile>full path from portal root</iconFile> if basePath is not defined by a file component (eg if you use a resourcefile)

Please forgive me for hijaking this thread, but it's the only one I found talking about this particular topic and I am hoping you guys might be able to assist me. Or possibly point me in the right direction to obtain an answer. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to add an image to the custom module I created. But I seem to have a problem packaging and displaying the image. I have my image in a IMAGES directory inside the module root folder. When compiled into the ZIP (using MSBuild Community Tasks Macro Template), the image is inside the IMAGES Folder off the root and they are also inside the resources ZIP, DIRECTLY in the root, not in the IMAGES folder. In my DNN Manifest I have the following specified: DesktopModules\EAP_Provider\Images\EAP_Icon_32x32.jpg

I've tried adding a COMPONENT FILE element to the DNN Manifest, and I even tried modifying the MSBuild commands to get the files in the needed spots, but I am so turned around at this point. The install of the module no longer kicks up an error for tha missing file, but it also doesn't seem to save the location of the iconFile element I put int he manifest. The icon doesn't appear and when I modify the package on the DNN site, the iconFile property is blank.
