I have this error every time I try to update my website portal settings.  Any help is much thanks in advance!

Error: Site Settings is currently unavailable.

It's not clear from your log which version of DNN you are on. This problem usually happens when the stored procedure is not current with the ASP.Net code base. Perhaps the site was upgraded and upgrade failed. I believe the SP in question is UpdatePortalInfo. You may need to update the SP to match your version of DNN.

I am running the latest but it may have happened on the last update since it was doing this prior to the update.  I do remember having to fix an issue like this as you described once in the past which is strange behavior and I wish I knew what would cause this to happen and there was a script feature that would check and fix these as needed.

I will have a look but I am sure you are correct I will update those SP's.

looking at the sp now however trying to find out what it should be compared to what it is...

If you run www.mysite.com/install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade does it run you through the upgrade scripts? Also maybe try mode=install and mode=installresources for good measure. I have had installs that glitched and then reran those and the script went off correctly the second time.
