I have DNN 4 up and running, now I've decided that I want to move it to a different location (read disk).  Is there an easy procedure or script available for this?  Or should I just start over?

to add on to this question, my company wants to transfer our database over soon, and I wanted to know where it would need to be changed to pull from the new database...

How much control do you have over your server?

I recently moved my complete dnn installation to different servers quite easily because I had access to the machines.
  1. Backup your database
  2. Zip up your site
  3. Restore database to new server and attach, checking database user(s) created successfully.
  4. Unzip site to new directory
  5. Use IIS manager to create new site pointing home directory at your new location, selecting asp.net 2.0, assigning correct application pool
  6. Change web.config to point to your new database server
  7. Browse to site
  8. Bingo!
I'm not sure of your situation, there may be some reason that you need to copy your IIS logs over

Sorry, I can't help if you don't have full access, I've not been in that situation

I just want to move the files from the C drive to the D drive which has more disk space.  Database server and IIS server will be the same.

Well there's never any harm in backing up, so I would do steps 1 and 2 then copy your files into their new location and change the home directory location in IIS Manager.  Now test and tidy-up.

Job done.
