I'm just building my first site and have created a page using the installed default skin.
The page contains HTML modules and I've changed the dnn logo in the top portion of the page to my own and amended the copyright details at the foot of the page to my own.
What I now want to do is to use the space at the top of the page alongside the logo to add some text and possibly a date/time script. but I can't see anything in the system (or the user manual) to allow me to do this
Can someone explain how I can do this.

You'd need to modify the skin to have your custom text shown next to Logo. Watch this video to find out where skins are located and get familiarize with the concept. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnGTP_.... After this locate the div where logo is placed, simply place your text (possibly in another div) close to the location skin. (Backup your skin file before making any changes).
