My home page load correctly.  When I click Login, it changes my URL to https://... /Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2fdefault.aspx

Which fails with a 404.

WIN 2k3 server, IIS6

I do have an SSL cert installed.  Bindings show port 443 on the header.  I have port 443 open on my firewall.
Directory Security does not say SSL required.

DB shows:
0 SSLEnabled False NULL NULL NULL NULL en-US
0 SSLEnforced False NULL NULL NULL NULL en-US

I changed SSLEnabled to True, no effect..
What else can I try here?

Anyone??? I am able to register a new user, so I did that, then went into the database and set IsSuperUser to true. I also added the User ID to the Administrators group in the user roles table.

I was unable to log out of the user account or I wouldn't be able to log back in. I manaully navigated to the Admin->Site Settings url, and it wont load either.

Seems like all the "dynamic" pages just give me a 404. In this case SSL isn't invloved..
Any Ideas?

When I have issues like that I turn OFF anything related to SSL. And make sure your firewall port accepts as well as allows Port 443 to show. I know one situation where the firewall settings were not allowing responses into the server for port 443 and it stopped it from working correctly.

Anything that has the words firewall, dnn & ssl in the same sentance can give you challenges to setup.

Turn off your firewall, turn off ssl and that should get site up and running again and do one thing at time to check where it fails.

Strangely, I was able to get it to work by removing the 443 SSL binding in IIS and adding it to the standard host bindings...

Not sure why this would be required as my certificate was working and configured correctly..
