Hello,
One of the modules we developed was not working correctly. We put a hotfix in the module and sent the dll to the user. For some reason, the user decided to delete the existing dll from the bin folder first and then put the new dll there. Now he is getting an AspNetHostingPermission error as follows:

InnerException: Request for the permission of type 'System.Web.AspNetHostingPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

We have tried repairing the module installation, but that didn't help.
While we are trying to fix this, I would like to understand the reason behind this error and if there is anything we could change in our dll to prevent it in the future.
Thank you in advance for the inputs.

It almost sounds like module requires Full Trust in IIS (web.config-><trust level="Medium", perhaps should be "Full".

Although I do not think the user changed this anytime after installing the module, I will double-check with him. Thank you for the suggestion
