I am using DNN 4.0.2 on an account hosted by godaddy. I have not had any problems with the DNN installation until a couple of days ago when I tried to create a new directory in the File Manager, while logged in as host. I get the following error: 

An error has occurred.
Request for the permission of type \'System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089\' failed.

Any ideas? Thanks...

I am seeing the exact same issue on my DNN site on GoDaddy.  A couple of days ago I've started getting all these security exceptions and most parts of my site aren't working.  I've called GoDaddy support but so far haven't gotten anywhere.  Anyone have a solution at this point?

It's been over a week and my site is still not working correctly and I'm getting security exceptions all over.  Has anyone figured out what happened on the GoDaddy servers to cause this?

I gave GoDaddy a call and explained the situation and at first they said they cannot help with third-party apps but then they said they had not changed anything in the server set-up...

Did you call/email them? If not please do, the more they hear from us the more incentive they have to look at the problem...

As of about 6/13 my site returned to normal, I can now create directories, and edit all my blog entries.

I believe that this was a godaddy problem which they corrected. I certainly did not make any changes to my DNN installation either to cause, or to fix the problem...
