Hello All,
(Useing DNN5.5)

I've been haveing an issue with several 'admin' pages that seem to just sit and spin (progress animation) when selecting/changing things.

For example...
Update Password (on submit)
Add Role to user (on submit)
Add page (if the 'Insert Page' area is touched)

It seems to happen when it tries to re-populate lists and such.
My "guess' is an Ajax or Cache setting/issue. But Nothing I do fixes it.

Any ideas? My Page Editors are getting upset.
Thanks in advance, CD

this typically happens when an error occurs - please check admin->event viewer and see if any errors are being logged.

Thanks Cathal. I'd forgot to check there. Unfortunaly there was no related or new errors even though I would go make the situation happen then jump right back to the event viewer.
Side note: I figured I'd clear the events while I was in there and even though it actually did clear the list, the page just sat there with the 'busy bar' animation until I forced a page refresh. Grrr.

try editing the module definition and disabling partial rendering, that will often let you see the error (rather than it being consumed as an ajax callback)

Thanks Cathal.
Turns out this may really be a glitch in my Artisteer generated skin (custom button vs partial render). I found two threads for those in my situation, but have not pinned down the fix yet.  If I find one, I'll let all know.
