I am very new to DotNetnuke..I have been watching the videos and was able to setup my site on localhost and play around. Here is my question. How do you build a site on a domain that i have purchased or transfer what I have created to a domain. I have looked through the videos (as best I can) but doesnt see "the how to video". Can some one give me some direction or point me to a video. Thanks

Deploying DNN involves two steps.

1. Add an portal alias in the admin area that is the same as the domain name for you live site.
2. Backup your database to a .bak file using the MS SQL tools
3. Zip the folder containing you site.

On your DNN supported host:
1, Restore your database to the host server using MS SQL database restore tools
2. Unzip the file you created in step to the domain level folder on your host server.
3. Alter your web.config on the host server to point to the new location of your MS SQL database.

Exactly how you go about these steps will vary by hosting company.

The smoothest approach would be to choose a hosting company that will handle the install on your live server for you.
