I saw that DNN supports localization, and was able to (for example) localize some of the static resources such as the menu bar items. Can I localize dynamic content in my modules as well, for example, can I localize my Announcements? If so, how?

Todd,
there are several solutions for multilingual sites, either using builtin localized pages (a page per language with individual language specific module copies) or 3rd party solutions for multilingual modules, e.g. from www.apollo-software.nl, ealo.codeplex.com or dnn.tiendaboliviana.com

 Hi Sebastian ,
Thank you for your reply. I'm still a little confused as to how to implement your suggestion(s). My preference would be (if possible) to stick with what is already in DNN. Your reply seems to suggest that the only way to localize dynamic content is to make either different pages or different modules that are only visible to the selected language. For example, to have one Welcome page in English and one in German and one in French. Or the same thing, but only with modules which are tied to a language. However in the page/module settings, I don't see a way to restrict views based on language? (I am running DNN 6.x). Am I misunderstanding you?

I did see Ealo which people seem to like, but for the life of me I can't seem to find a page with instructions on how to set it up and use it.

I will check out the other two resources you mentioned. I appreciate your input.

Hi!
Sorry for stupid question maybe but where is Enable Localized Content link in new 6th version of DNN? I read the SuperUser and User manuals, but I suggest that there is an old info about it.
Regards!

In Host Settings, >Tab "Other Settings", the last option is called "Enable Content Localization", which enables associated options in Admin :: Languages.
