Timezone localization was recently added to Invenmanager's Event Calendar and Registration module.

Personally. I'd love to see it added to the core event module as well:

1. Add a selectable event timezone to the event add process (default to the user profile tz)
2. Display events based on their selected timezone
3. Convert event times for logged in users based on their user profile timezone or based on a selectable timezone on the event/calendar view.

Some of this we intend to add in the 6.x release. Curently the module does not use the new DNN support for DST so does not convert times to the users timezone. We plan to add DST support in 6.x to enable all times to be stored as UTC and then displayed appropriately.

For your other ideas, please can you raise on CodePlex so we can consider for a future release.
