Hi Barry, the built in separator behaviour only applies to action menus. In a normal menu, you'll need to add some custom logic to your template (e.g. by creating disabled pages called "Separator" and making your template render them appropriately).

Thanks Mark .. that will do

Hey Mark, what about separate styling (colours) for each menu item (like mX in DNN menu) .. is it possible with DDR?

As a work around I created separate templates for each menu item (using Mega2DNN.xslt as a base and renaming ) but now sub menus are not forming into columns .. js is not creating the necessary 'div class=row' code .

So if it is possible to use one template and define separate unique color attributes for each menu item (node) that would be awesome ..again will .m0, .m1, .m2 ...... work as in DNN menu

Our designers are always pushing limits .. at least mine..

thanks
Barry

Sure, you can set per-page styling if you want to, just use the id attribute of the menu node in your CSS classes. So in the Mega2DNN template for example, you would add

m<xsl:value-of select="@id"/>

to the relevant <xsl:attribute name="class"> section.

You could add a dynamic class based on the pageID by using the [=ID] token. For example, if you are using token based templating and  wanted to add that class to the list item you could do the following: <li class="tab-[=ID]">. Then reference that in your CSS based on that particular pageID. Of course, that only works on custom skinning when you know what pageIDs are...
