Can anyone give me any details on how this works? For example, I loaded two languages in addition to English (Spanish and Japanese) . I have localized content enabled. To my understanding, the static links should now be sensitive to whatever culture my profile states (e.g. If my profile is set to English, then static links such as the tabs and menus should display in English, even if the content of modules is being shown another language).

By default, the Login link displays in English.
If I click the Spanish flag, the Login link displays in English.
If I click the Japanese flag, the login link displays in Japanese.

if you have content localization enabled and you are in edit mode, static localization should stick with your preferred language, while content language is controlled by language flag. are you using DNN 5.5/5.6 or 6.0 ?
