Tikkune-

You just helped me out with your post regarding "pointing your parent portal to DNN "! ITS A MIRACLE!!!

Thank you soooo much. I just couldn't "get" the pointing to the DNN in the c:drive. AFter all , didn't we all spend tons of time just learning how to set up the dern website on wwwroot/website to begin with??!

Thank you, I now have an online working parent portal! YIPEEEEE!!

Now, my next quest will be how to configure a parent portal while still keeping the currently designed website up and running,, don't know if that possible??

Thanks again -- noooooooooob

It's been a while since I last read the manuals; is the process outlined in this thread "the" or "A" approved way to configure parent portals? I seem to remember trying to do something eerily similar to this and causing my installation to go suicidal. Which really sucks, as I have godaddy as a host, and getting anything installed to root is near impossible.
