Is anybody successfully developing modules in DNN6 with the ajax toolkit? I've been working on a module in DNN 05.06.02, compiling my module and running the website in .net 4 without any issues. (ajax toolkit version 4.1.50401)
I have now replicated my development environment in a DNN 6 installation. The module compiles without errors but the ajax controls will not render. The script error I'm getting is:

'AjaxControlToolkit requires ASP.NET Ajax 4.0 scripts. Ensure the correct version of the scripts are referenced. If you are using an ASP.NET ScriptManager, switch to the ToolkitScriptManager in AjaxControlToolkit.dll'

Any ideas?

just to add to a bit more info. I'm adding the ajax toolkit page directive to my module's ascx page then allowing the core to add the script manager by setting the partial rendering property in the module's definition.

Just to add a bit more detail. I'm adding the ajax page directive to my ascx files:

<%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="ajax" %>

Then letting the core wrap the ascx file in an update panel by setting the 'allow partial rendering' in the module definition

I have exactly the same problem. Even tried the last version of ajaxcontroltoolkit from 7/31/2011. No luck:(

It looks like dnn and ajaxcontroltoolkit are not compatible anymore because dnn doesn't support ToolkitScriptManager.

It's sad because we can't use last versions of DNN. Or we need need to start using some alternative of ajaxcontrol toolkit but who is gonna pay us for redoing our projects?

Can somebody from the Core team comment? Is the AjaxToolkit now unsupported? I have read other threads from DNN5 installs where developers have replaced the 'ScriptManager' in the default.aspx page with the 'ToolkitScriptManager' but I want to avoid modifying the core application.
