I cannot delete pages on my new DNN 6 installation. I receive the following error:

Tab Management

Error: is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: e:\hshome\webconnexus\webconnexus.com\DesktopModules\Admin\Tabs\ManageTabs.ascx.cs(2): error CS1056: Unexpected character '਍' ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: e:\hshome\webconnexus\webconnexus.com\DesktopModules\Admin\Tabs\ManageTabs.ascx.cs(2): error CS1056: Unexpected character '਍' at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.WebFormsModuleControlFactory.CreateModuleControl(TemplateControl containerControl, ModuleInfo moduleConfiguration) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleControlFactory.LoadModuleControl(TemplateControl containerControl, ModuleInfo moduleConfiguration) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I do not have this problem on my local machine version of DNN 6, just on the one I've installed in a shared hosting environment. Any clue as to what the problem is?

One more thing I have noted: It appears that the file ManageTabs.ascx.cs is modified when I try to delete a page/tab. A bunch of strange characters get inserted into the file of the form ਍ .

that should not be the case, DotNetNuke does not modify it's own source code files - ive no idea what this could be and would recommend you pull down a copy locally and try to debug through it

Yes, I find it very strange. The exact same kind of installation works great on my localhost machine. It is just is my web host's environment that this happens. I can see the file get bigger (presumibly, because of all the inserted special characters) just after trying to delete a page....

I'm stuck on this one too. Here's a partial screen-shot of the managetabs.aspx.cs file after the error is thrown:

The characters are inserted right through the file at the start and end of every line of code.
