I created a DotNetNuke site using WebMatrix with DotNetNuke 6.0 Community Edition. Then I created a module using Subodh's DNN Module Template in VS2010 Ultimate SP1. I compiled and generated package via Build Deployment Package. When I tried to deploy it to my site using Manage->Install Extension Wizard, I browsed to the package zip file and click Next, which brings up 'Upload results' window with a message 'If you have reached this page it is because the installer needs to gather some more information, before proceeding.' It presents three radio buttons 'Skin', 'Container' and 'Not a Skin/Container'. I tried the 3rd one (default option) and click Next but the wizard doesn't go forward to the next stage. So I tried the 1st or 2nd it does go through but my module ends up in wrong group (Skins or Containers). What shall I do in order to deploy my module into the right group (Modules)?
Thx

The installer is looking for a dnn installer manifest file.
For a module to be installed properly you need to create this file or have the dnn extensions system create one for you.

There is a lot of detail on manifests in the wiki
