I have stumbled upon the solution to the issue. Apparently, the godaddy version of the upgrade package is missing a key folder that needs to me copied. The entire Admin/Menus folder was not present. Everything else seems to have installed correctly, but the folder was simply missing. There are two subfolders (DNNActions and DNNAdmin) that need to be present. Once I copied those folders and files into all sites, they came up fine as an admin/host.

Thanks to those of you that responded. I hope this can help others struggling with the same issue.

Hello James --

I am experiencing the exact same issue.  Did you simply create DNNActions and DNNAdmin folders?  You mention files as well.  Where would I get the files that go in these folders.  I've looked in the file system on godaddy and I don't see those folders.

Thoughts?

Many thanks for your help!

 Dave,

I simply downloaded the upgrade package for 6.0 (no source code) from DNN and extracted out the folders I needed and copied them to the site. Additionally, there were a few other folders I have since discovered were not copied on the GoDaddy install. There may be more. If I find others, I will post them here. The ones I have found so far are:

../Admin/Menus/DNNActions
../Admin/Menus/DNNAdmin
../DesktopModules/Admin/Tabs/images
../icons/Sigma

The latter two folders have images that are needed. The site will work, but the images will show as broken when performing admin/host functions.

Happy DNNing James

As an FYI.  I have experienced the exact same behavior after using the automatic upgrade at GoDaddy.
I am locked out of the portal which I tried to log into, receiving the error message.

All of the other portals operate fine until I try to log in, then they display the same error.

I hope this helps to validate that this is not an isolated occurrence.
