I'm creating a module from which I would like to be able to change the page title, and the meta tag keywords and description for the page depending on the information the module places on the screen.  Is it possible to do this and if so, how would I accomplish it?  Any help would be appreciated.

It is possible. How to do it? I couldn't tell you, but I do know there is a module vendor that has something similar:

I'm not a sponsor of their products or affiliated with them, just a satisfied customer.

It's quite simple.
You just need to setup an overide for the 'BasePage' property, through which you can get at all those settings.
