Hi,

DNN 6 installed successfully without a problem. But I have the following problems with the User Interface

1. The Search Box at the Top Right corner of the User Interface (with the small DotNetNuke logo is blacked out.) and cannot be seen at all until I mouseover it and the cursor changes.

2. The Copyright Notice in the ABOUT US section (The Left Footer section) is grayed out and cannot be seen        

3. The More Contact Information link in the CONTACT INFORMATION section (The Right Footer section) cannot be seen unless I mouseover it the it changes to red.

These problems are consistent on all the pages in DotNetNuke 6. Any help with be greatly appreciated.

Also does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to create skins from the ground up. Step by Step that is consistent with today's tools. I am using Visual Studio 2010 Professional and DNN 6 Community Edition, and I have access to others. I want to learn how to create my own skins.

P.S. I have intermediate knowledge of HTML5/XHTML and CSS 2.1/3.0. So if the answer is technical please fire away.

could you please post a screenshot (e.g upload to somewhere like imgur/twitpic). As for skin tutorials the wiki has lots of useful information - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Skins.aspx is a good place to start as it has docs, tutorials and videos (in fact the whole skinning category is useful http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/loc/allpages/cat/Skinning.aspx )
