Has there been any progress on this?  I just started trying to update to 6.1.3 from a 5.x version and ran into this problem.  We have a custom module that calls into other dlls that use log4net extensively.

Is there any easy fix?

This is a huge issue for me.

I have been using log4net as a logging framework for years. Currently all my custom modules are non functional concerning logging in the 6.x version of DNN.

I looked in gemini and saw a comment about not solving this problem!  This is a terrible mistake.

see http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...

Do you have the same problem, please report here. We need to get this fixed!
