In my design I've a menu over a contentpane. The positions are oke, I can add modules in the pane, but I can't reach the nav buttons (they are visible but not clickable) anymore. I've tried to change the z-index of the nav div. But that doesn't work.
If I change the z-index of the certain contentpane, I can't reach the manage-button anymore.

How can I change this? I rather have the nav/menu over the manage-button, i can change the container for that. But how can i get the nav/menu over the pane without any troubles reaching the buttons.
tnx

It's hard to say without seeing the exact problem. But I deal with this on a regular basis when creating dropdown menus that hover over content. When dealing with z-index, you have to also define the elements 'position' property. So for example, I usually do something like this:

< nav > - CSS { position: relative; z-index:2; }

< main > CSS { position: relative; z-index: 1; }

If you have a screenshot or a URL I can probably figure it out.
