Hi Gilles,
I really like the way the store module works except for the lack of a pickup or delivery option during checkout.

Do you have the missing code you mentioned before that can turn the pickup or delivery option on? I'm willing to provide my support here for other users that are getting started selling online.

Especially when there are lots of companies like mine that are more local based in a specific geographic area rather than spread out globally. I would like my store to be more local based in a specific geographic area. How do I set the default address provider to a specific Country and Region?

Thanks!

Hi Gilles,
If I setup the pickup or delivery options in my paypal merchant account so my customers can choose what shipping method they want at checkout, why does the dnn store module ask for shipping options when paypal does it for you?

How can I skip the dnn store shipping options so paypal does it for them?

Thanks!

Hi Antony,

The code is already in the Store source code (DefaultAddressCheckout.ascx) but not implemented. You just have the corresponding controls (RadioButton radNone currently hidden) and event (radNone_CheckedChanged) but nothing is done when you display the RadioButton.

To define a specific geographic area, you have to completly change the logic of the DefaultAddressProvider this is not a simple task!

Hi Antony,

Simply because the Store module is provider based and not all payment gateways support this kind of options. That's why the Store module ask for common options whatever the defined payment provider.

If you have to deal only with PayPal, then remove the unwanted code in the corresponding controls (Checkout.ascx and DefaultAddressChekout.ascx).
