yes, the issue was reported and triaged and will be worked on for 6.0.2 (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=16656&PROJID=2)

Was there any fix to this? Is anyone else having the problem of a sub directory showing up in the address? I would expect many people have to install in a sub directory.

Please share your thoughts! Thanks in advance.

its been moved out to a later release (6.1.1) as the solution could not be found in time for the 6.0.2 release.
