I'm new to DNN.  I've browsed this site and others looking for some answer and I can't find a solution.  We want to use a DNN site as a "content manager" for a different site.  The idea is that users can log into specific pages, edit the text and then export it as an XML.  We'll pick up the XML and display it on their web page.

These users are low-level computer uers, so I want to restrict access as much as possible.  If I set the user's permissions to View the page and Edit Module, Export Content is no longer an option.

If I give the user Edit Page permission, then they can access the Export function.  (But I'm afraid they'll do something silly like delete their module!)

Is there a way to change the roles/permissions of a of Edit Module to allow the use of Export Content.

THANKS!
