I would really appreciate some advice before I go mad.   I am learning about the skinning system by playing around with some default skins in VS and my text editor.  The CSS and XML are straightforward but I cannot find a way to reduce the height of the container title area. No matter what I do or where I look I cannot find anyway to reduce this ?
I have looked at some of the containers offered by various vendors and when I see a slim title bar the very useful module controls are missing.
Is there some kind of default padding around these controls ?  I can live with the menu height but when this is the same for a container it looks very clunky.
Thanks

Dear ModMed

If I understand you, then you've problems with configuring the container header? Is that so? Here you've an example how I configure the different parts of the container, every item has his own style... your can change it like you want. But remember the box-model in css is very important when you use styles. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/109/threadid/42500/scope/posts/Default.aspx
Look also at the problem that is solved by Hooligannes.

It might be helpful if you tell us what you want to achieve. Is it that you don't want a title? In that case you can remove the tag.

The title height is governed by the height of the style element (Div, TD), and the line height (font size), line spacing of the .Head class.

Thank you Gvborre & Schotman for your replies. Sorry if I did not explain my issue correctly. Gvborre I have read the Hooligannes threads and whilst they contain info on something else I was wondering about I am not sure it is the same problem.

I need to have the module title bar use the standard controls and title text (as approp) but need the height of the title bar to be less than the normal 26px.  Changing values in the aspx or htm have no effect. Changing the font size reduces it a little but there is always too much padding.  Thanks

The height is affected by the height of your Title (it uses the .Head class) and the padding the containing table may have.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
