Hi,

I am looking to set the EnableDepth property for the DNN Navigation to limit the number of sub-levels included in the menu, but have no idea where to do this. I think I am completely missing something because I have gone through the files in Windows Explorer and cannot find where to do this. I am new to DNN, so if you could please point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks!
Jenny

Hi Jenny,
this is basically a property of the Menu Provider itself.
If you are using a 'core' provider (which will come with the standard installation)
you can find all possible attributes within this Document: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/LinkClick.a...

From DNN 6.x on the 'new' DDR Menu Provider is the standard...you an find all related informations at Codeplex: http://dnnddrmenu.codeplex.com/

Hi Frank,

I used the standard install for version 5.5.2, and then installed Morpheus with SkinLab by Nukeville, which just uses the standard DNN menu.

To change the attributes described in the document you referenced, where do I find the files to update?

Thanks,
Jenny

Hi Jenny,
well...Morpheus with Skin Lab is more or less it's own Skinning engine. I'm not 100% familiar with its technique, but i assume that all Menu Settings (i don't know about the Navigation Depth though) should be adjustable through the engine itself.
But to answer your question...all tghe settings for the attributes of the DNN-NAV provider are stored within the Skin Files. These are the .ascx Files within under the Skin Folder within your Portal.
