I have a custom module that I use to display various SQL Server '05 Reports.  The settings.ascx take care of the path to a specific report - so it is reusable, etc.

However, the issue remains that we end up with 2 sets of vertical scrollbar - 1 from the custom module on a page, the other from the reportViewer.

For now I have the custom module defined quite short - vertically, so that at least there is only 1 scroll bar to deal with, however, not much of the report is viewable at a time.

Has anyone any suggestions on how to display SQL Server reports from a DNN custom module?

Perhaps there is a way to jump to a full page that is 'outside' of the DNN app?

Thanks in advance,

Michael

The easiest way to jump to a report is to use a page url. Just add a new page called Reports, click on expand Advanced in other settings select Link URL: and just type in the URL to the report. This will jump outside of DotNetNuke but you can click Back from the report. You can use the same technique to list reports in a Links module, except you can force the report to open in a new browser, leaving DotNetNuke as is. The advantage of using the links module is that you can use the security mechanism built in to DotNetNuke, and only allow certain Roles to view certain Reports. Also there is a module available for Report Server from snowcovered, but I cannot comment as I have never used it.
