Hello,

I am testing the blog module for a "message board" for a new job board website I am building for my company. The idea for this page is to give business owners DNN user accounts that are in a group that has rights to post  blog entries. I do not want these users to be able to modify the blog settings that I have configured, such as requiring moderation for blog comments, but I need them to be able to post blog entries, which will contain job postings within their organization. I am going to create and name the blog for each user account "[company name] Job Openings" and they will then be able to post blog entries with job openings (this is what I would like to do at least). My only concern is I can't figure out if I can or how to limit these user accounts to only add blog entries and not edit the blog.

Also, if a company were to go out of business, could I delete that particular blog as an administrator or super user?

If I can't do these things, does anyone know of a module that I can buy from Snowcovered to accomplish what I am looking to do?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

I don't think you can do exactly what you want.  I think the blog owner can always change settings.

You might consider much the same concept, but using the Forum module instead.  Seems to me that you could get much the same result and you can have posters unable to change the settings.

Best wishes,
