I have a DNN 6.0.0 installation with 7 portals. 3 of the portals are new builds the rest are older versions (mainly 5.6.2) migrated to version 6. I have changed the Skin ASCX files to use the new control bar.

The problem is that the new sites have the copy option under the page menu actions but the older copied websites do not. I even tried copying the Dark Knight ASCX file over the existing ASCX file to make sure I did not have a setting wrong in the file. The only things that are not shared between all the portals are the Portal files so I changed one of the sites to use the default skin and container. I still could not see the copy function.

Anyone got an idea what I am missing please?

you do not need to copy and files over or edit the ascx - you just go to host->host settings and change the control panel to ribbonbar.

Thanks for the advice Cathal I had forgotten that option. Unfortunately that is not the problem, I already have the ribbon bar visible but the copy option is not visible under Pages>Actions. On 4 portals on the website I only have Page Settings, Add, Delete, Import, Export. On 3 other portals on the website I have Copy as well. All 7 are showing the new version 6.0 ribbon bar.

did you try using free Advanced Control Panel from www.oliverhine.com instead. It includes "duplicate page" feature, whereever you need it.

Added Oliver Hines ribbon bar. It is neat, works well and looks good. Unfortunately it also has the same problem. Under the copy page function it takes me to a 4 tab modal. The 4 tabs displayed are Page Details, Copy Page, Permissions, Advanced settings. The second tab Copy page normally has a dropdown box to select page to copy and the various modules on the page each having new, copy and reference options. On 4 of the portals all I have is an Add button but no dropdown to select what to add. The other 3 portals are working fine. The 3 that work are 0, 1, 4 and those not working are 2, 3, 5, 7 so no logic there.
