Hi, on first sorry for my english i'm french.

I'm doing an internship for my 1st year of school, and I wok on a dnn CMS.
Today my manager find a bug and asks to me for fix it.

The problem is on file manager (only in host option, file manager it's ok for admin).
When I go on file manager and I click on a folder in the tree the folder is not open.
I can only see `host root` folder but not the other.

(I can click on the + and - sign, but I can't select a folder...).

I really don't know why, I hope that someone has the same problem know how to fox it !

Thank you,
Franck

what browser are you using - perhaps its a javascript issue (thats what fires to expand the treeview) - can you check the javascript console (F12 is most browsers) to see if any javascript errors are logged.

Hi Franck, no need to excuse for being french, there are a number of foreign users in these forums (and there are forums in foreign languages as well, e.g. at www.dotnetnuke.fr).
please check the file system for any extraordinary file names, e.g. DNN does not support file names using an Apostrophe ', another issue might be a semicolon.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

There are some known issues with the File Manager and the WhiteSpace filter in dnn600.  If you are running dnn600 then for the moment you would need to turn of the WhiteSpace filter in the Host->Settings menu.

Regards

Westa
