Hi,

I've found numberous doctype issue with the HTML 4.0 Transitional doctype (IE in DNN 6).  Issues include the admin menu at the top of the site rendering incorrectly (transparent background, not adjacent to top) as well as the login module not rendering properly.  I realize XHTML is ideal but some skins are still running HTML 4.0.  Any word on these issues be addressed in the next release?

Thanks,
John

I think the answer to this will be no.
The only way to get IE to behave is with an XHTML doctype.
Hacking around IEs  limitations if it renders on an transional doctype is waste of time IMO.
You should really update your skin to XHTML.
If you don't like that, blame IE, not DNN... ;-)
