Hello..
I installed the F&L data provider and the XML v6 module.   I'm trying to get the XML module to Sort in Descending order a column in my F&L module.  This isn't working properly.

In the sort field, I've tried just the column name, the [column name] in brackets, [udt:column name] and even [column_x0020_name] without any luck.

Since the XSLT is setup for a table setup, I've tried <xsl:sort select="udt:Name_x0020_name" order="descending" /> which causes another error that states the xsl:sort can't be placed within an xsl:if statemane, nor even a xsl:template.

Any ideas?  Thanks.. -Jeff

Jeff,
1.) column name or  [column name]  should be fine, though I will test later.
2.) xsl:sort is only allowed within xsLapply-templates or xsl:for-each, see http://www.w3schools.com/xsl/el_sort.asp

yw,
Stefan

hint:
the eXSLT provider in conjunction with the FnL data source providers allows reusing of the XSLT scripts generated in FnL

Hello Stefan,
I was wondering if you've been able to test this to see if the XML module in conjunction with the F&L data provider will allow us to sort the columns.
I haven't been able to make this sort work properly.
I've even tried adding a sort within the XSL but it's not working as well.
I tried the eXSL module as you suggested, but this too doesn't sort properly.
Thanks.. -Jeff
