Hi All,
After upgrading a site from 5.6.3 to 6.0.1 I'm having an issue logging in with compression enabled. After the AJAX indicator finishes spinning  there is no redirect. In addition, the site does not reflect the display name in the login skin object. If however I click a menu item the pages become editable and the login skinoboject displays the display name. This was not an issue when running DNN 5.6.3. Also, this is the second site I upgraded and the first did not have this issue.

If I disable compression the issue is resolved but the performance noticeably suffers.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Vinny

I just upgraded 4 client sites on my development machine and one each one I have this same problem. When compression is enabled the login page does not redirect or indicate successful login. I have to refresh the page or manually redirect. I also notice that on Admin --> Pages, if I right click and select View Page from the popup menu, nothing happens. There is obviously some conflict going on with compression and AJAX.

Disabling compression fixes these issue but site performance suffers tremendously.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem or have any ideas on how to resolve?

I found this in Gemini: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=14841&PROJID=2

Is it a related issue?
