Hi,
I cannot change my portal's portal alias mapping mode from "none" to "redirect" because there's a problem.

Whenever I change my portal's portal alias mapping mode from "none to "redirect" my portal's logo disappears and then a couple minutes later I check my portal's portal alias mapping mode and it is back to "none". The problem is it won't stay on "redirect".

Also why does my portal's logo disappear when I change the portal alias mapping mode?

I can make the logo reappear after I go to Admin --> Site Settings --> Appearance --> Logo and select the file I have uploaded in my portal's root folder.

Thank You!

I don't know why my portal alias mapping mode "redirect" setting wasn't saving but I fixed it by deleting every portal alias even the default aliases then adding them new again. Then I selected "canonical" then clicked update then selected "redirect" and clicked update again and now all my portal aliases redirect to the default portal alias.

I have problems with this feature and DNN 7.2.2:   I changed the setting to "Redirect" and  was unable to get to my website.   I used SQL Server Management Studio to fix the problem.

I recommend the following SQL code ("NONE" would also work):

SELECT * FROM dbo.PortalSettings
     WHERE SettingName = 'PortalAliasMapping'

UPDATE PortalSettings SET SettingValue = 'CANONICALURL'
     WHERE SettingName = 'PortalAliasMapping'
