Hi,

I am getting the following error after moving my site to a hosting server. I never saw this error when developing the site locally, and I only see it now when I am logged into my site as the host/admin account. The error does not show when I am not logged in. The other strange thing is that this error is coming up on pages that are using the Page default, and does every other page in my site. But the error does not show on every page, only certain ones. I'm thinking it has to do with absolute paths, but then am confused because it is not showing on every page that uses that container (the default).

Here is the error:
Could Not Load Container: /dotnetnuke/Portals/_default/Containers/Nukeville.Morpheus/Set1_12B.ascx
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Unhandled error loading module. ---> System.Web.HttpException: The file '/dotnetnuke/Portals/_default/Containers/Nukeville.Morpheus/Set1_12B.ascx' does not exist. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilities.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Pane.LoadContainerByPath(String ContainerPath) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

If anyone has any insight into this, I would really appreciate. I am using DNN version 5.6.2.

Thanks,
Jenny

This appears to be the crux of the problem:

The file '/dotnetnuke/Portals/_default/Containers/Nukeville.Morpheus/Set1_12B.ascx' does not exist.

So, look at the _default/Containers/Nukevill.Morpheus directory and verify that all of the files are present.

Since you seem to have not gotten all of the files moved, it's quite possible that other files are missing, too. You might want to try recopying the entire web directory to your hosted site.

Thanks for your response. The only problem is, is that other pages are using this same file, and are displaying fine without any errors. This is the default page container I have set under Site Settings, and every page uses it. Totally confused as to why I am getting errors on some pages, and not others.
