I am having a problem with 6.01 which looks like it has to do with the sequence of loading javascript resources.

Using Firebug, with pop-ups enabled under portal usability settings, I get the error that dnnConfirm is not a function in default.aspx

With pop-ups disabled I get the error that draggable is not a function in dnnactions.js

This happens with either the standard installed Jquery 1.6.1 and Jquery UI 1.8.13 and the Hosted Jquery with Google at http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js

The errors also persist when I switch over to the DarkKnight skin (tested to be sure it wasn't an error introduced by my skin)

I suspect this is a problem with resources not being all loaded before functions are evaluated/called.

Looking for suggestions of other things to examine or test to isolate the problem.  All help appreciated!

I assume these functions work as expected with pop-up's enabled? If so this is a bug and should be logged at support.dotnetnuke.com (and soon as we're working on 6.0.2 as we speak)

No. There are problems both with and without popups enabled. It feels like a problem with the javascript resource files not all being there when they need to be. But I thought the $(document).ready(function() {}) wrapping the code in question would handle that.

With pop-ups enabled, the error is on this javascript in default.aspx:

The specific error in Firebug is "$("a[href*=\"" + confirmString + "\"]").attr("href", function () {return $(this).attr("href").replace(/if\(.+?\)\{(.+?)\}/, "$1");}).dnnConfirm is not a function"

Actually I just checked it again while composing this, and the above error comes up with pop-ups disabled as well, providing you are in "View" mode. If you are in "Edit" mode, the error is

i.find(e.menuWrapSelector).draggable is not a function

in dnnactions.js

Since you mention not getting similar reports, I thought that I should chime in.  I'm trying to upgrade a site from 5.6.3 to 6.0.1 that uses a custom legacy skin and I'm trying to track down why some of the pages that use jquery stopped working, and this is what I is being reported in the firefox error console:

Error: $("a[href*=\"" + confirmString + "\"]").attr("href", function () {return $(this).attr("href").replace(/if\(.+?\)\{(.+?)\}/, "$1");}).dnnConfirm is not a function
