The JumpStart PayPal integration comes with a bunch of functionality.
The PayPal integration itself are two sets of credentials: one for the PayPal Sandbox test environment and one for the Live PayPal Express Checkout website where the actual payment is done.
But the PayPal integration also informs the end user about the status of order that is payed for by email.

Prerequisites:
For testing your payment functions you must have a PayPal Sandbox account.
For a live PayPal payment processor you must have a PayPal Bussiness account.



The module:
Typically any payment for a product will be a calculation; multyply the number of an article with the price of that article.
For instance: you need a box of wine where a box contains 6 bottles ($ 3,50 per bottle) . You would have to pay 6 times 1 bottle and added with the VAT(=19%).
Special field function extentions provides for the PayPal integration to ensure the correct calculations to get a paymant transaction done without any error.


Then, when the end user finished the PayPal transaction, the JumpStart module sends an email to the user with the transactioninformation and status.
You, as administrator, have full control over the PayPal credentials and the email that will be send to your end user.


Then, at the end of the transaction, the module will test wether a transaction is finished succesfull or aborted.
In case the transaction is successful, the user will no longer be able to alter the order, otherwise iht order can be changed until the payment is successfully finished.
