I am having 5.6.2 with 3.5.4. on a dedicated Windows 2008 STD R2 and MS SQL 2008 Express 1 GB RAM (I know it is too low)

Although never complained about the pageload but added the dll file restarted the IIS.  I feel it is better now.

I'm putting together over 4,000 records and will import via the SQL  (will mapping) and then test.

Shall post my comments regarding the performance once import is complete.

Steve's and other members contribution is simply great work!

Sorry for writing so late, but was busy on other projects.

I found the solution to my not working filtering problem. When experiencing the slow performance of the module, I tried to fix that by issuing a cache time of 60. This did not cure the problem, but I forgot to reset it. So started the viewstate problem and finally the filter problem.

I have now reset the module cache time value to 0 and all filtering works correctly again.
Thanks Google for pointing me in that direction by browsing around for viewstate problems.

And again thanks to Steve for providing comprehensive support and a new dll.

Good work man. Thank you.

Regards
Thomas

03.05.06 Beta is now available, you can download it here
http://gooddogs.com/Downloads.aspx

The good news, is that this beta release now supports ALL DotNetNuke versions 3.5.1 and up, including the latest 6.X versions.

03.05.06 addresses a number of issues

Performance Issues with Dashboard Component
Changes have been made to help performance when you have a large number of Objects in your Repository.  The issue would manifest when placing a Dashboard Component on a page and pointing it at a Repository with a large number of entries.

PERMALINK Token Not Working
This issue has been fixed.  The PERMALINK token will now direct the user to the page with the Repository module, and will automatically filter the module to show only the entry referenced by the token Url.

SECURITYROLES Token not Saving
This issue has been fixed. Adding a [SECURITYROLES] Token to your form.html template file will now display a list of checkboxes for each security role in your portal. The roles you select will now be saved with the entry, and the Repository module will now only display entries for which the current user belongs to the required roles. Leaving all checkboxes unchecked will result in the entry being 'public' and viewable by everyone.  NOTE: These security roles defined at the entry level only pertain to 'Viewing' the item.  Download permissions are still set at the 'Module' level on the Module Settings screen.

Let me know if you have any issues with this release.
Thanks for your patience

I am still looking into a couple of other reported issues, however, these were major issues and I wanted to get this release available as quickly as possible.  I would expect there to be one more beta release, 03.05.07, which I plan to submit for official release sometime in December.

Thanks a lot Steve, it solves many problems I had, and the performance is incredible right now !!

THANKS A LOT !!

There is only one issue which is still remaining. Steps to reproduce the bug (DNN 05.06.03):

- Press the button to add an item to repository
- Enter a description
- File > switch to "File" > Upload a new file > Upload Selected File
- Image > Switch to "File" > Choose your file location ...
After this step, once it refreshes the content, you have "lost" the selection of the initial file you uploaded (the folder is still correct, but NOT the file itself, which has been replaced by the first one in the folder).

Is that possible to correct it in a future update please ?
Thanks a lot,
DV FX
