Hello,

I just installed DNN6 on my hosts server. Everything went fine. (.NET version 3.5 SP1)
I went to install "Other Modules" and chose the DNN Gallery Module (actually the following error is thrown on any attempt to install a module). The following error was reported:
"A critical error has occurred. Request for the permission of type 'System.Net.WebPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed."

I have several DNN 5.x install with the same hosting company.

What could be causing this error? and/or how do I resolve it?
Something in web.config?

Thanks for your time.
Dan

Dan,
this indicates that your DNN Site does not have necessary ASP.NET Permissions. Is your site running in Medium Trust or Custom Permissions? Your hosting company should be able to assist you with this.
