Hello..
I would normally not hit our site on a Friday night, but last night I did and noticed something.

A little after 8pm EST, I visited our site and noticed that our small calendar on our home page was already highlighting Saturday instead of staying with Friday.

I checked the time on my machine, the server, etc and all are configured for UTC -5 Eastern time.  I checked the portal setting as well as the calendar settings and they both are configured for the same; UTC -5.

Any ideas on why this occurred?  Thanks.. -Jeff

That's slightly strange. What the module does is take the server time, convert this back to GMT by looking at what timezone the server is in and correcting for that. Then it adds/subtracts for the timezone set in the module settings. There is a possibility it could be wrong by the amount of DST for your server (I won't go further into that, it is a long story), but that should be all the inaccuracy.

Maybe worth checking if the time is right on your server.

Another possibility is that you visited the site, and changed the date, and then went back to the page with the calendar on. The module remembers the day you are on for a few minutes.

Cheers
Roger

Hello..
Thanks for the update.  I'll check tonight to see if it changes the date of the calendar after 8pm.

I checked the server and it's time is correct and it's configured for Time Zone GMT -5:00 Eastern Time.  All the client machines I've used are configured for EST as well.  Not sure why this occurred.

But, I'll let you know tonight.  Thanks.. -Jeff
