I do love DotNetNuke but this is about my 6th upgrade in 6 years and every single time there has been some niggle. This time is no exception and I am receiving the following error:

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 06.00.01

Current Database Version: 05.05.01

I'd love it if there was a log file somewhere that can explain what went wrong so that I can save everyones time.

Also, when I log in as HOST the following error occurs which is probably related to the upgrade error:

This webpage has a redirect loop

Any help would be appreciated

I guess I will have to do exactly what I did the last 6 times which is to install a new copy and then write scripts to transfer data across...sadly the upgrading of DNN is it's downfall, it really should be kicking wordpress in the teeth due to the massive functionality but I guess the less dedicated just give up and go for the easier to manage solution.

I will not surrender! Catalook is just too good to be true.

I would suggest that anything goes wrong on upgrade modules.  The SqlDataProviders are all running good as I have sean on your log.
I would make a restore of the old database and the old files, and then recheck the all folder permissions and .NET and IIS settings, making ensure that both connection strings are set well.

Perhaps a issue on an installed Skin or module makes this issue.
