Thanks Will, I will look into the CSS fix.

I have just hit another problem.  The media module has been displaying a youtube video perfectly correctly all day on both Chrome and IE9.  Suddenly it has broken, and the message (in edit mode, logged in as host) is:

Error: Media is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at WillStrohl.API.oEmbed.RequestController.GetOEmbedContent(String RequestUrl, String ProxyAddress, Int32 ProxyPort) at WillStrohl.API.oEmbed.Providers.Embedly.GetRichContentObject(String URL) at WillStrohl.API.oEmbed.Wrapper.GetContent(RequestInfo Request) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Media.MediaModule.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I checked that the url was valid, which it says it is.  I then DELETED the module, added a fresh version of the module, copied in the link from Youtube, but exactly the same error occurred (in both browsers).  In view mode, or not logged in, you dont see any message at all - but you dont see any video either!

Any clues please?

Is the video still available through other means? It sounds like the oEmbed provider is no longer returning the video content.

FYI...  Regardless, the module should handle that error much more gracefully.  I have added this as another enhancement.

The youtube video is still available, yes.  Today I shall create a test page and run the media module on it with nothing else present.  Since it was previously working fine, I am wondering if another module on the page (there is 1 media module displaying an image and 1 html module) is upsetting it.

Thanks for your quick response.

Hi Will, today the problem has gone away.  The module displays fine without me changing a thing!

Perhaps yesterday's problem is due to a caching issue, which of course would not apply after an overnight pause?

See www.vintagebus.org LFM734 Videos for the module in action!
