Hi to everyone!
I'm part of a project that develop an intranet and I've tring to develop the specific contact module in my DNN 4.0.2 Web Site, consulting the tutorial "Creating a DotNetNuke Module" by Michael Washington. The module is installed with a single table that I named "Person" where I stored the detail of a contact. The insert, delete update on the module are correct!
Now I want to extend my module, that my site's user can access.
The extension is this: a contact contains several information such as name of the person, surname, telephone number etc..Some of this information (such as telephone number) are absolutely private and only some specific user can view them. I've created two new roles in my DNN web site: "employee" that can view generic information on the contacts (name, surname etc..) and "master" that can view all of the information (including tel.number).
How can accomplish to this in my module?
At level of stored procedure or in another place?
Help me please,
Thanks a lot!
Cristina

use the extendable permission grid. UserDefinedTable 3.3.0 (that will come with DNN 3.3.0/4.1.0) can be used as reference.
