Hello

Here is my story :

I use latest version of DNN on local host,
I wanted to make a custom login and registration page,
I added a new page with an Account Login module on it, and changed LOGIN PAGE in site settings to point to new page
it worked fine :)

then i added a new page for registration, i tried much , but i was not able to find "User Account" module

i also changed Enable Pop-ups property a few times.
after these, i deleted both new pages, and change Login Page setting back to default.

Now , the problem is, i have no access to login page and registeration page at all, and it will redirect to home page when i want to access to mentioned pages :(

-I checked LoginTabID in Database (in PortalLocalization table right?) it is NULL.
-when i access to /dnn/register.aspx or /dnn/login.aspx , it will redirect to homepage
- i tested it when  Pop-ups is enabled or disabled and i got same issue

i can login to portal by using dnn/Default.aspx/?ctl=login
but i dont know how can i back changes to default and solve this issue

Any suggesstion or help is appreciated.

Thanks

did you restart the app pool after you made modifications in the database?

Hi
Thanks for your reply.

Yes i restart application pools and iis  but the problem persists :(
In fact i didnt change anything in database, i did changes in DNN control panel,
i just check the database to see if "LoginTabID" is null or not , and it was null already

any other suggestion please?

please check values in PortalLocalization table as well, AFAIR this setting has been moved when introducing content localization feature in DNN 5.4/5.5

Thank you sir

I am new in DNN (less than one week) and not aware about fields too much
I checked mentioned table and didn't see any suspicious thing

here are the field values :
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PortalID 1
CultureCode en-US
PortalName MyPortalName
LogoFile FileID=-1
FooterText Copyright 2011 by ...
Description NULL
KeyWords NULL
BackgroundFile FileID=-1
HomeTabId 82
LoginTabId NULL
UserTabId 84
AdminTabId 85
SplashTabId NULL
CreatedByUserID NULL
CreatedOnDate NULL
LastModifiedByUserID 1
LastModifiedOnDate 2011-10-03 09:33:45.757
RegisterTabId NULL
SearchTabId NULL
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
any thing is wrong ?

More information may be helpful :
i checked http request when i click on Login link,

The request url is :
http://localhost/dnn/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fdnn%2f&popUp=true

But HTTP result code is not 200!, i got 302 and then 301 and then redirect to home page

:(

Thanks a lot
