Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is well,

Im new to DNN and stuggling with installing yAF (yet another Forum), I have gone onto there site and downloaded this:

I have then logged in as host and tried to install it via the Extension Manager, everything thing seemed fine and DNN said it installed, I then clicked return to portal to find this error :

Could not load file or assembly 'YAF.Classes.Config' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.

followed by a load of code with yellow boxes.

and when trying to go back on the main site it just stays on that error.

can any one help? or point me in the right directions.

Costas is right, support for YAF ist available in their support channels.

But this seems to be a more general problem. There is some assembly in your system older than the version required by YAF. This could be the DotNetNuke version, the ASP.Net framework etc. Try to find out the requirements for YAF, compare them with your system and then upgrade the necessary things, not without taking some time to investigate if there are upgrade issues.
