Basically a (stupid) choice based only on false "perceptions" (as he said).

 I couldnt agree more. Why focus on such a thing? VB.Net and C# is more or less the same thing .... how does it go with competing with other open source CMS system on the microsoft plattform such as Umbraco? That should be a major focus instead
