Hi Sail,

If you use 6.0+, you can use export/import content to do this.

NovaSoftware ---a professional outsourcing company in China .
* More than 6 years' offshore experience in DNN
* Successfully developed 30+ websites , 250+ DNN modules, 50+ sets of Skins/Containers.

Eileen does 6.0+ avoid the static Portal IDs?

I've done some checking (and also am testing this currently) and it appears that when you export from an older version (5.6.0) to 6.0 that the static portal IDs cause an issue when you import into a new Instance of DNN.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this?  Beyond trying to manually update every file's Portal ID from the old to the new.  I'll continue to look for solutions.
