Hello,

I am new user of DOTNETNUKE, I am going to build a booking system for my client. They already using a system build in ASP Classic. Now i want to upgrade their system and giving new features in their old system.

So I decided to build their new booking system in DotNetNuke. But i want to keep their old data in the database. They have booking system users in the database. Now i am planing the system in the DotNetNuke. In old system users information saved in a database table such as username, password etc. Also different users can access different pages in the booking system.

Now my problem is in DotNetNuke its have their own users and users information saved in DotNetNuke databse. but my booking system database system is different. Now how i can give the login functionality to system user to login. user validate from booking system database.

After that i need to give permission to the different users to different web pages. How i can do this.

Or is their any solution regarding this. Please let me know I am very greatful for your quick response. I have limited time to complete the project.

Thanks In Advance.

I am thinking on my problem and i think it would be easy solution. if i create the same user in the DotNetNuke database.
My system have only 5 to 10 user so i just create them in the dotnetnuke database then i think its solve my problem.

users created in the DotNetNuke database and then i can give them permission according to their security rights to different pages.

What you guys think about this idea.

Thanks
